Creator of CHAP-OH

CHAP‑OH was founded in 2025 by Amelie, a proud member of the disabled community, Invictus Games competitor, and lifelong advocate for inclusion. Raised in a small town in New Brunswick, Amelie learned early the value of community, grit, and heart — qualities that would shape every chapter of her life.

Before launching CHAP‑OH, Amelie served seven years in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Supply Technician. Her military experience strengthened her resilience and deepened her commitment to helping others. In 2019, her life changed dramatically when she was struck by a semi‑truck, resulting in the loss of her leg. That moment marked a turning point — one that transformed her pain into purpose.

As an amputee, Amelie experienced firsthand the challenges faced by the disabled community. Instead of letting adversity define her, she used it as fuel to build something meaningful. CHAP‑OH was born from that determination: a brand dedicated to celebrating strength, raising awareness, and giving back.

A mom of two who, now living in Alberta, loves to travel, explore the outdoors, and surround herself with friends and family, Amelie pours her spirit into every design. Each toque and beanie features a thoughtfully crafted patch symbolizing unity, inclusivity, and pride — turning every piece into a statement of empowerment.

But CHAP‑OH is more than apparel. It’s a movement. A commitment to supporting the disabled community by helping fund mobility equipment for individuals in need in the Edmonton area. Every purchase directly contributes to making someone’s life more accessible, independent, and full of possibilities.

Together, we’re redefining fashion with purpose — one hat, one story, one act of kindness at a time.
